Before we moved to Palm Bay from New York, I spoke to Beth Moran on the phone. By a stroke of luck I was given her number as I searched long distance for appropriate daycare facilities here in Palm Bay. As Ms Moran described her plans for Pineapple Cove Academy her enthusiasm was contagious. Her desire to create an environment of learning that was top notch, yet fun and memorable for children was unique. I wanted to enroll Janelle then, but she encouraged me to have a tour of her dream.

I recalled our first tour of the building. At the time it was still in construction. As my husband and I toured the structure, we knew then this was where our daughter, Janelle, would be best cared for. We signed up then. It was the best decision of our lives.

Over the next three years, Janelle has excelled both academically and socially. The teachers are warm and nurturing. She is surrounded by a loving group of individuals that goes above and beyond the call of duty. The security is one of a kind. We are comforted knowing our daughter is in a safe and secure environment.

As Janelle prepares for Kindergarten, we are both excited and terrified. Excited because we know she is armed with the learning tools she was taught at PCA. Terrified because we know that no other school will care for her the way the members of PCA does.

To Beth, John and all the wonderful teachers and Auxiliary staff at PCA, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for creating PCA. Thank you for the love and care you have given Janelle over the years. Thank you for being such dear friends and a wonderful part of this community.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all that you have done for our “little girl” Alyssa. Upon our first visit to Pineapple Cove Academy, we were greeted and given the school tour by Beth. I was so impressed by the facility and the time given to us during our visit. Beth took the time to explain everything about the school and her passion for PCA was quite evident.

Throughout our years at Pineapple Cove, we have met and worked with amazing teachers and administrative staff. All of Alyssa’s teachers have always been happy and involved, and seem to love working at the school. They work hard to create a friendly, welcoming environment for the children and their parents. This environment has helped Alyssa learn so much! During her time at your school, we have been so impressed with her knowledge and experience with music, sign language, Spanish, math, reading, writing, science/social studies, and table manners. Outside of the classrooms, Becky and Lissette are always friendly and eager to help with any problems or questions that might arise.

Since Alyssa started at Pineapple Cove, we have always felt comfortable and secure knowing that she is in such good hands. Your facility is definitely top notch. It is always extremely clean, warm, and friendly. The playground is incredible, and seems to keep getting better. The addition of the Tiki Huts, new toys, and the new outdoor Tropical Café have been highlights of Alyssa’s stories.

In addition to amazing classroom experiences, Pineapple Cove Academy has provided our family with great memories. We have enjoyed attending all of the family events – such as the Halloween Party, Thanksgiving Feasts, Winter Wonderland, Mother’s Day Teas and flowers, and Fairy Tale Ball. We have always been amazed at the amount of resources that go into these fabulous events. You put so much back into the school, and it is very appreciated!

My son was 3 ½ months old when he started Pineapple Cove Academy and I couldn't’t have asked for a better staff. Miss Bunny, Miss Erika, & Miss Michele are all so attentive to my son that he doesn't’t even cry when I leave him. But not only them, every teacher there seems to know my son and love and care for him just the same. The staff here is so understanding in every situation whether it be time schedules or financial schedules. They truly care about the children and their families. They love my son like he was theirs. Coltyn is constantly smiling when I come in to pick him up and you will always find the teachers on the floor playing with them. They are also very quick to call you if something isn't’t right. As a first time mom they help me stay on top of what to do next, sometimes better than my doctors! They let me know if they think he should try a certain food or if he should go from bottle to cup.
Not only do they take care of your child so well that there is not a need for the constant calling that I did in the first couple of months checking up on him. They also provide family activities for all ages. We’ve gotten to enjoy a Halloween Costume Parade, Christmas program, professional pictures taken, a royal ball, and I know many more activities as the years go by. They take pride in what they do and you can always get a hold of Lissette or Becky at the front desk. It is safe, clean, and secure and I couldn't’t ask for a better place. I just wish they were available to work on weekend evenings because you will not find better childcare providers than the ladies that work at Pineapple Cove Academy.

We can not thank you and all of the staff for everything they are to our family. When we enrolled our son into Pineapple Cove Academy we were very new to the wide world of daycare. Our first daycare experience was very frustrating and unsuccessful. A friend at my work spoke of Pineapple Cove Academy as the Taj Mahal of daycare. When we entered to tour the staff was so warm and friendly. They answered all of our questions and we signed our son up before we left. When the day came for him to begin the staff took such special care of him and made him feel secure. We never experienced the crying fits we used to when dropping him off everyday. He was very excited to arrive. When we approached the staff to begin potty training, the staff was so accommodating and they followed our wishes to the t. I continue to be impressed with how much he has excelled with his social and communication skills. The staff are always welcoming and encouraging parent involvement with activities, Saturday evening events and community activities.

I feel so blessed to have such a warm and dedicated staff to be a part of my son’s life. I feel very safe and very confident with the care my son receives and time he spends there. I will continue my relationship with Pineapple Cove Academy for as long as I have daycare needs and I would recommend their care to anyone looking for a loving and safe place for the most precious ones in our lives.

As new parents we are very happy with Pineapple Cove Academy. They are very understanding of our need to know that our baby is o.kay at all times. They take our calls as frequently as we want to make them and they never complain that it is too much. The facility is extremely clean and child friendly. They offer activities for children of all ages to expose them to different aspects of life that are very creative. The teachers are very patient with us as new parents leaving their child for the first time with unknown people. I just have to say that I LOVE Pineapple Cove! I have a 5 yr old son who attends this school and he just loves it. His two teachers, Ms. Jean and Ms. Nicole are great with the kids. They have learned a lot and also have done a lot of activities. I was afraid my son would hate school because he was always by my side but the teachers here made his transformation so much easier. He loves school and now I have no worries about him going to kindergarten in August. He WILL adjust beautifully. Thank you so much Ms. Jean and Ms. Nicole for giving my son the tools he needs to move on to kindergarten. The other staff here are also very nice and also eager to help you in any way possible. I am so glad I choose this school for my son and would highly recommend it to anyone!!!

We are truly lucky to attend Pineapple Cove Academy for this year’s VPK program. Our great Pineapple Cove experience began with the very first telephone conversation. Ms. Becky told me step-by-step what to do to enroll in the VPK program, as well as giving us a very thorough tour. She is as sweet on the phone as she is in person, always greeting parents and children with a warm smile. The beauty of the Pineapple Cove is that pleasantry does not stop at the front desk.

I cannot say enough about my daughter’s teachers, Ms. Jean and Ms. Nicole. They are both so sincerely concerned with the growth and development of all the kids in their care. They instantly welcomed Riley and made her feel comfortable in the classroom. If parents want to be involved with activities, recess, field trips, or just reading a book to the kids, they are welcomed to do so. I have so much respect for them and what they do!

As far as the school is concerned, it is constantly planning for or hosting an event. The extent that they go to is amazing -- you would think that they hired professional event planners to throw the parties! So far this year, the whole family was welcomed to participate in a Fairy Tale Ball (with pony rides), the Fall Harvest Festival (with a hay ride and haunted house), a Thanksgiving Feast, Holiday celebrations, and a Valentine’s Dance! I will be sad to leave Pineapple Cove at the end of the school year, but look forward to my youngest to participate in VPK there in the future!
