A parent/guardian wishing to learn more about Pineapple Cove Academy may stop in for a tour. We encourage your child to visit with you so he/she will be able to meet the director and teachers and see all the exciting equipment and materials at the center. During this visit you will have an opportunity to tour the school and ask any questions you may have. You will be given information and an explanation of all the policies and procedures which will assist you in selecting the best childcare center available to meet your family’s needs.


Once you have made the decision to enroll your child at Pineapple Cove Academy and are ready to begin the enrollment process you must complete, sign and return all of the required forms in the enrollment package. A current immunization record and physical record completed by a physician must accompany your enrollment application. You will need to pay the non-refundable registration/enrollment fee as well.

Pineapple Parent Action Team

The Pineapple Parent Action Team is comprised of parents and facilitated by PCA staff. They come together to enhance the PCA experience for their children. This committee meets briefly, monthly to plan events, discuss concerns, amend practices and fill needs with the goal of continuously enriching the PCA experience for our young ohana. During your child's time at PCA, consider being a member of the PAT and be a part of your child's educational growth and learning development. Whether you are available to attend meetings, volunteer in the classroom, on field trips and events, or if you are available via email or phone to share information with other parents and feedback to the PAT, all levels of involvement are welcome and encouraged! The diversity of minds and bodies of all backgrounds and experiences can offer our children a well balanced program to nurture and stimulate the learning atmosphere academically and socially.


Nutrition and Menus

Pineapple Cove Academy follows the national guidelines for nutrition. Our menu is available at the beginning of every month for parents to review. We provide healthy meals and nutrition education to all children. The Honu Cove Café serves breakfast, lunch and snacks daily that meet all the daily requirements needed for children. ChooseMyPlate.gov is an excellent site to develop a plan for healthy eating patterns at home and has sample meal and snack patterns for any preschooler.
